The automotive supplier plans to reward its shareholders with 0.71 euros per share – pure dividend joy!

The automotive supplier HELLA, which operates under the umbrella brand Forvia in partnership with the French company Faurecia, has announced that it will distribute a dividend of 0.71 euros per share to its shareholders for the fiscal year. This distribution corresponds to a total sum of 79 million euros and thus maintains the payout ratio of about 30 percent of the annual result.

This marks a significant change compared to the previous year, in which an exceptionally high dividend of 2.88 euros per share was paid out, due to a special dividend of 2.61 euros per share as a result of the exit from the joint venture HBPO, in addition to the standard dividend of 0.27 euros.

In the past fiscal year, HELLA was able to increase its sales by more than ten percent to 8.1 billion euros, a result that has been known since mid-February. The operating result improved significantly from 295 million euros to 486 million euros, which increased the operating margin from 4.1 percent to 6.1 percent.

For the upcoming year 2024, the company listed in the MDAX forecasts a group revenue between approximately 8.1 billion and 8.6 billion euros with an operating margin of around 6.0 to 7.0 percent. The announcement had a slight impact on the share price of HELLA, which temporarily fell by 0.12 percent to 81.00 euros in XETRA trading.
