Porsche Leverages Silicon Valley Software Expertise, Forms Strategic Partnership with US-Based Applied Intuition, a Vehicle Software Developer

With this collaboration, the Volkswagen subsidiary aims to expand its software development capabilities in order to increase its share of self-developed software and reduce dependencies on suppliers with black-box solutions. This partnership promises Porsche access to essential know-how in the development, implementation, and updatability of vehicle software, an area that is becoming increasingly important in the latest generations of vehicles.

For automobile manufacturers, integrating and regularly updating software from various suppliers poses a challenge. Qasar Younis, co-founder and CEO of Applied Intuition, emphasizes the differences between software and AI development and traditional hardware-based vehicle development.
