Nemetschek Increases Dividend Despite Challenging Market Conditions

Nemetschek SE, a prestigious provider of construction software, announced an increase in the dividend distribution for the past fiscal year. Shareholders can rejoice: a dividend of 0.48 euros per share will now be distributed, an increase from the 0.45 euros of the previous year. This announcement is in line with analysts' expectations, who are closely monitoring the company's performance in the current economic environment. Despite a noticeable downturn in the construction industry and the strategic realignment towards subscription-based contract models, Nemetschek has managed to grow continuously. The company, which provided a preview of its preliminary financial figures in early February, recorded a 6.2 percent increase in sales to 851.6 million euros in 2023. Also impressive is the almost constant profitability before interest, taxes, and depreciation, with a stable profit of 257.7 million euros. Despite the growth, however, a slight decline in the profit margin had to be accepted, which fell from 32.0 percent to 30.3 percent. The sustainability of these figures reflects Nemetschek's ability to navigate successfully even in more economically challenging times while keeping shareholder interests in mind.
