The new collaboration between Lenzing and TreeToTextile, with the involvement of existing stakeholders such as the H&M Group, Inter IKEA Group, Stora Enso, and LSCS Invest, aims to advance sustainability in the textile industry. Known for their expertise in producing environmentally friendly cellulose fibers, Lenzing, with brands like Tencel, Lenzing Ecovero, and Veocel, sets benchmarks in the industry. The corporate group reaffirms its commitment to eco-friendly practices in the fiber industry. TreeToTextile, founded in 2014, has always focused on developing sustainable production processes for cellulose fibers. With pilot plants since 2015 and a demonstration plant from 2021, the company has already laid the groundwork to make its innovative fibers market-ready. Lenzing CEO Rohit Aggarwal expressed enthusiasm about TreeToTextile's advanced technology, which further reduces the ecological footprint and seamlessly integrates into Lenzing's corporate strategy. This partnership is a significant investment step and an expression of Lenzing's relentless spirit of innovation. Dr. Roxana Barbieru, CEO of TreeToTextile, also believes that the new partnership will accelerate the achievement of ambitious goals. The expertise and focus on sustainability by Lenzing will significantly promote the market introduction of the innovative products. Recently, in September, Lenzing updated its brand identity for the Tencel line to align with changing industry trends and to cater to the increased interest in ecologically responsible solutions.
