RTX Corp. has announced that it has set aside a total of $959 million to settle a criminal investigation into the pricing of missile and defense services, as well as a separate corruption probe. The company, formerly known as Raytheon, expects to enter into a three-year deferred prosecution agreement with the U.S. Department of Justice. This agreement will include oversight by a Corporate Monitor, RTX disclosed in a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on Thursday.
