Stellantis has initiated a recall for approximately 1.46 million Ram trucks. The reason for the recall is a software issue that could potentially deactivate the vehicles' electronic stability control system. Affected are certain models of Ram 1500 trucks from the years 2019 and 2021 to 2024. According to a company statement, most of the recalls are located in North America, but 61,000 vehicles outside this market also need to return to the workshops. This recall action once again underscores the importance of software quality in modern vehicles and ensures that the affected systems of the Ram trucks function flawlessly.
