The newly introduced Renault 4 E-Tech model at the Paris Motor Show captivates with a blend of nostalgia and futuristic vision, underscoring Renault's commitment to the energy transition. Aesthetically, the car impresses with its unique grille, inspired by the original Renault 4 and crafted from a single 1.45-meter-long piece. This grille showcases the Renault logo perfectly with its continuous, illuminated frame. The focus on retro design is also evident in the newly interpreted iconic three-part taillights and modern LED elements. Charming nods to the original model can be found in the lines of the hood, the shape of the rear side window, and the characteristic shapes on the roof, now equipped with roof racks. A special feature is the electric fabric roof, which opens at the touch of a button or via voice control, providing an impressive view of the sky without compromising acoustics and headroom. Technologically, the Renault 4 E-Tech presents itself as an innovative electric vehicle. Built on the AmpR-Small platform, it features an optimized chassis and a revised steering system, especially designed for urban traffic. Two different drives are available, each with an efficient heat pump and bidirectional charging. The 52 kWh battery uses NMC technology to enable a range of up to 250 miles and can be quickly charged thanks to a 100 kW DC charger. Renault focuses not only on technology but also on sustainability: The Renault 4 E-Tech is manufactured in Maubeuge, France, with 75% of the suppliers located nearby. Additionally, fabrics in the higher trim levels are made from 100% recycled fibers, and the vehicle achieves an overall recyclability of 88.6%.
