The prominent edge rusher Haason Reddick has engaged Drew Rosenhaus to conclude his negotiations with the New York Jets successfully, as the agent confirmed on Monday. Reddick is in an ongoing contract dispute with the Jets, which led to his separation from his previous agency, CAA. Rosenhaus expressed optimism, telling ESPN they are determined to work out a prompt resolution with the Jets. He emphasized that Reddick envisions a long-term future with the New York Jets and that this is the overarching goal of the negotiations. The Jets' defensive line has recorded a total of 18 sacks in the first five games of this season, prior to the matchup with the Buffalo Bills. Will McDonald stands out, leading the team with 6.0 sacks. The Jets acquired Reddick on April 1 in a trade with the Philadelphia Eagles, involving a conditional draft pick for 2026. The two-time Pro Bowler has, however, not appeared, as he seeks a longer-term and more lucrative contract, having reached the final year of his three-year contract, which brings him $14.25 million. The 30-year-old Reddick made a name for himself by recording an impressive 50.5 sacks over the past four seasons. His career began as a first-round pick for the Arizona Cardinals in 2017, since then he has amassed 410 tackles, 99 quarterback hits, 58 sacks, and 16 forced fumbles in 114 games with 81 starts for the Cardinals, the Carolina Panthers, and the Eagles.
