In an impressive victory by the Detroit Lions over the Dallas Cowboys with a score of 47-9, there were dark clouds on the horizon despite the triumph. The talented defensive end Aidan Hutchinson suffered a severe leg injury in the third quarter, casting doubt on his continued participation in the current season. Lions coach Dan Campbell expressed concern about the incident, stating that the 24-year-old Hutchinson is still being treated in Dallas while his teammates travel back to Detroit. "He will stay here and receive care," Campbell said. "It's obvious that he'll be out for a while... We'll know more later." The injury occurred during a tackle of Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott, where players from both teams gathered around the injured Hutchinson as medical staff intervened and transported him off the field. Notably, the broadcaster Fox chose not to replay the scene. As the second pick of the 2022 draft, Hutchinson had already shown an impressive season performance with 6.5 sacks, after recording 11.5 sacks for the Lions the previous year. His career tally stood at an impressive 27.5 sacks before the game began.
