They Sharply Criticize the Biden Administration and Accuse It of Undermining the 'National Security of the USA.' Since 2019, Huawei Has Been on a U.S. Blacklist, Imposing Strict Trade Restrictions on the Company due to Violations of Iran Sanctions.

The relevant collaboration already has a license dating back to the term of President Trump, allowing the export of central processors for laptops to Huawei. Despite the pressure from some politicians, this license has not been revoked to date and remains valid. However, it is set to expire this year and will not be renewed.

According to sources familiar with the matter, the delivery of the chips was made under an already existing license, which is not affected by new restrictions on the supply of AI chips to China. The Department of Commerce as well as the companies involved, Huawei and Intel, have so far not issued any statements regarding the current allegations.
