The latest quarterly report comes from the fourth quarter of 2023, marked by strong business performance. Compared to the previous year, Berkshire Hathaway recorded an operating profit of $8.481 billion – a 28 percent increase. The Buffett Holding also recorded a record high in liquid assets, which amounted to $167.6 billion in the fourth quarter. However, Berkshire Hathaway did not only impress in the last quarter; for the entire year of 2023, an operating profit of $37.35 billion was announced - an increase of 17 percent compared to the previous year.

To make these numbers official, Berkshire Hathaway had to file Form 13 with the SEC, which lists all holdings of the investment vehicle. It was noted that Paramount stock is no longer among the top 15 holdings of Warren Buffett. Instead, the portfolio was stocked with winners like Apple, Coca-Cola, and Bank of America.

The shares of the Buffett holding company remained stable in the market after the announcement of the quarterly figures. The B share recorded a slight increase of 0.50 percent to 417.22 US dollars, while the A share even managed to gain 0.55 percent to 628,930 US dollars.
