The Michigan Wolverines will have to do without running back Donovan Edwards in the upcoming ReliaQuest Bowl. Edwards joins the list of absentees, which already includes defensive tackle Mason Graham, tight end Colston Loveland, and cornerback Will Johnson. This decision comes before the matchup against the 11th-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide on December 31—an encounter that poses a challenge for Michigan (7-5).
Edwards, who confirmed his departure to WXYZ-TV in Michigan, concludes his four years with the Wolverines with impressive statistics: 422 carries for 2,251 yards and 19 touchdowns, along with 86 receptions for 797 yards and four scores. This season, he was the team's second-leading rusher with 589 rushing yards, behind Kalel Mullings.
In contrast, there are no signs of player losses at Alabama. In fact, quarterback Jalen Milroe emphasized to WTVY that the team is approaching the season finale together, with a clear objective to develop the best possible game plan and present a united front. Modern Financial Markets Data
