Super Micro Computer recently announced the deployment of 100,000 GPUs using its advanced liquid cooling technology, now being implemented in some of the largest AI factories ever built. This innovation promises a significant reduction in energy costs for companies relying on artificial intelligence. The company also introduced a new line of direct liquid cooling products for servers, specifically aimed at reducing operational costs for AI businesses. CEO Charles Liang emphasized the efficiency of the technologies, stating that their solutions now cool vast and state-of-the-art AI factories, thereby reducing costs and enhancing performance. Liang highlighted that data center operators are increasingly turning to Super Micro Computer to achieve their technical and financial goals both when constructing new sites and upgrading existing facilities. The positive developments are also reflected in the stock market: shares of Super Micro Computer rose by more than 13% during the day on Monday to $46.77 and have gained about two-thirds in value since the beginning of the year. Shares of AI chip manufacturer Nvidia, a partner of Super Micro Computer, also increased and have more than doubled in value so far in 2024.
