The Edmonton Oilers impressively demonstrated why they are currently one of the hottest teams in the league: With a decisive 6-3 victory against the Vegas Golden Knights, they extended their winning streak to five consecutive games. Leon Draisaitl, once again proving his class, scored his league-leading 22nd goal of the season and added two assists. The offensive performance of the Oilers was supported by Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Connor Brown, who each contributed a goal and an assist. Goaltender Stuart Skinner protected the net with 38 saves, while Darnell Nurse shone with two assists. The Oilers recently looked back on an 8-2-0 run from the past ten games - an impressive record. On the other side, despite a valiant effort to turn the game around in the final period, the Vegas Golden Knights were unable to continue their four-game winning streak. Ivan Barbashev scored for the Knights, marking his 15th goal of the season, while Adin Hill had to accept a new season-high in goals allowed with 28 saves. Modern Financial Markets Data
