The NatWest Group has raised its revenue forecast for the fiscal year, after net interest income (NII) declined less sharply in the second quarter than analysts had expected. This suggests that the financial institution continues to benefit from persistently high interest rates. The company reported net interest income of £2.76 billion ($3.55 billion) for the quarter, as announced in a statement on Friday. This represents a 2.4% decline compared to the previous year but exceeds the analysts' expectations of £2.62 billion. In light of these results, the company now anticipates annual revenue of approximately £14 billion, compared with the previous forecast of between £13.0 billion and £13.5 billion.
