The Japanese electronics giant Mitsubishi Electric reported a remarkable increase in net income for the second quarter. With a rise to 69.5 billion yen compared to 62.3 billion yen in the previous year, the company appears to be highly profitable. The operating profit also saw significant improvement, increasing from 74.8 billion yen in the previous year to an impressive 118 billion yen. On the revenue side, Mitsubishi Electric also impressed, recording an increase to 1.36 trillion yen in the second quarter compared to 1.32 trillion yen in the same period the previous year. Despite these positive figures, the company maintains its revenue forecast of 5.39 trillion yen and an operating profit of 400 billion yen. Shareholders can look forward to an interim dividend of 20 yen per share, based on the results of the first half of the 2025 fiscal year. In addition to its financial successes, Mitsubishi Electric announced exciting news in the field of electromobility. The company announced a partnership with Aisin to jointly develop products for the next generation of electric vehicles. The plan is to develop electric drive modules, which are expected to be launched in the second half of the decade. The duo plans to establish a joint venture to strengthen future collaboration and bring innovative solutions to market.
