In a remarkable move, the Golden State Warriors have acquired the experienced point guard Dennis Schroder from the Brooklyn Nets. In return, De'Anthony Melton, who unfortunately must pause until the 2025-26 season due to a knee injury, and the versatile Reece Beekman move to Brooklyn. Additionally, three unprotected second-round picks from the Warriors are added to the Nets' portfolio, who in return give up a second-round pick for 2025 to the Warriors.
With Schroder, the Warriors not only gain experience but also playing class: The 31-year-old German scored a solid 18.4 points per game this season and set a personal best with 6.6 assists. With a 38.7 percent shooting accuracy from beyond the three-point line, he earned his place on the Warriors team – his eighth NBA station.
On the other hand, the Nets make room on the roster: Yongxi Cui, a talented but little-used forward, is released from his contract. The young Chinese player managed to score only three points during his total of ten minutes on the court for Brooklyn.
The list of those involved promises to sustainably influence the dynamics of both teams, whether through new opportunities or the incentive to further develop. Modern Financial Markets Data
