Rockets from the Lebanese Hezbollah militia struck the northern Israeli city of Haifa, while reports from Israeli media circulated about ten injured in the north of the country. The attack occurred on the first anniversary of the Gaza War, the effects of which have now spread across the entire Middle East. According to Hezbollah, which is funded by Iran and allied with the Palestinian Hamas militia, they targeted a military base south of Haifa with "Fadi 1" rockets. Local media report that two rockets hit Haifa on the Mediterranean coast, while five others struck the city of Tiberias, approximately 65 kilometers away. Damage to buildings and property was confirmed, and some people had to be taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. In response to the attacks, the Israeli Air Force targeted sites in Beirut that, according to the army, are associated with Hezbollah. These included the militia's intelligence headquarters, infrastructure sites, and weapon depots. Secondary explosions following the airstrikes indicated the presence of weapons. Similar operations also took place in southern Lebanon and the Beqaa Valley. These military actions occur against the backdrop of the remembrance of the devastating Hamas attack that began a year ago, regarded as one of the most significant security lapses for Israel. The ongoing conflict has sparked protests not only regionally but also worldwide and carries the risk of further escalation, drawing global interest, particularly from the USA and Iran.
