Dollar General is making waves this holiday season with a new toy guide that promises attractive deals and aims to delight customers. The product selection includes renowned brands like Fisher Price and Pokémon, with almost every toy available for under $20 and most for under $10. In addition to the toy offers, the company also plans to release a digital guide for gift items in categories such as beauty and personal care, pet supplies, electronics, home, and apparel. A recent Limelight Marketing study forecasts strong demand in holiday shopping 2024, especially in the e-commerce sector. Total retail sales are expected to rise by 4.8% year-on-year, underscoring the market's robustness. Online sales are projected to increase by 9.5%, amounting to approximately $271.58 billion in total. Dollar General remains the preferred destination for holiday shopping for many American families by offering high-quality products and savings opportunities that enable families to fully enjoy the festive season, according to the company. Macy's also has big plans for the upcoming season. The famous Holiday Square by Urbanspace event will launch at the famed Herald Square store in New York on November 1, 2024, and will run until January 3, 2025. Macy's will also be featured starting October 25 at the Holiday Shops at Bryant Park, offering products from the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade as well as gift items.
