ETF Investments: Long-term Opportunities or Risky Balancing Act?

The performance of the Vanguard Long-Term Bond ETF improved ahead of the Federal Reserve's announced interest rate cut in September. This makes sense given the nature of long-term bonds. However, interested investors should understand both the benefits and the challenges of this form of investment before deciding to purchase this ETF. The Vanguard Long-Term Bond ETF comprises long-term, investment-grade bonds, including approximately 50% U.S. government bonds and corporate bonds rated BBB or higher.
