The Formula 1 world is once again in dramatic turmoil, as Esteban Ocon bids farewell to his team Alpine sooner than expected. Ahead of the upcoming season finale in Abu Dhabi, the French driver announced that this separation was not in his favor. His successor will be the up-and-coming Australian Jack Doohan, who will make his racing debut at the renowned Yas Marina Circuit.
Ocon, who will move to Haas next season, emphasized that this arrangement at least gives him the opportunity to familiarize himself with his new team in the coming week. However, he does not hold back from expressing apologies to the staff at Alpine in Enstone and Viry, whom he can no longer bid farewell to in person. "I was looking forward to racing for you one last time and bidding farewell properly," wrote the passionate racer on social media.
Although Ocon is disappointed with the circumstances, he remains conciliatory and optimistic: "The world of Formula 1 is small, and I'm sure I'll see many of you again soon." Meanwhile, he wishes his friend Jack Doohan much success with his race start in Abu Dhabi.
Meanwhile, the Alpine team is fighting for sixth place in the constructors' standings, with only a five-point lead over the Haas team. The race in Abu Dhabi promises excitement not only for the drivers but also for the teams. Modern Financial Markets Data
