Glen Kamara, the Finnish national player who transferred from the Rangers to Leeds United last summer, is now on the brink of a move to Rennes in the French Ligue 1. Kamara played a key role for Daniel Farke's team last season, making a significant contribution to reaching the play-off final with 42 appearances in all competitions. The 28-year-old will move to Rennes after just one season at Leeds United. Rennes finished 10th in Ligue 1 last season. The French club had already shown interest in Kamara last summer but were outbid by Leeds at that time. As reported by 'The Athletic' on Monday, Leeds is in advanced negotiations for a permanent transfer of Kamara to Rennes. The transfer fee remains officially undisclosed but is said to be almost double what Leeds paid for the midfielder a year ago. To cover the departure in central midfield, Leeds United has recently loaned Joe Rothwell from Bournemouth.
