A recently posted photo on Reddit has sparked speculation about a possible overhaul of the Tesla Model Y. User JackIJack posted a picture of a camouflaged vehicle in California, which allegedly has the same front as Project Highland, the next evolution of the Model 3. "Looks like the front has exactly the same shape as the Highland. The last time someone saw a masked Highland was about 6-7 months before it was released. Juniper soon?" JackIJack wrote in his post. According to the user, the entire interior of the vehicle was also covered, further fueling speculation about a possible redesign.

The Tesla community on Reddit is already hotly discussing this post. Some believe that this could be hints of an impending release of a new version of the Model Y.

However, Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, has already denied these rumors. In an interview with Reuters, Musk confirmed that Tesla intends to launch new models in the first half of 2025. According to Reuters, which cites four individuals familiar with the matter, production of a new vehicle codenamed "Redwood" is set to begin in mid-2025. However, there was never any mention of a revised version of the Model Y.

Musk clarified on X in June 2024 that there will be no new version of the Model Y in 2024. Whether a new version of the Model Y could hit the market in 2025 remains unclear.

Tensions remain high among Tesla enthusiasts, but until Tesla's official announcement, everything remains speculation.
