In Brazil, on the other hand, the Fortaleza and Porto Alegre airports experienced a decrease of 12.5 percent to a total of 1.0 million passengers.

The positive developments at Frankfurt Airport are also reflected on the stock exchange. The Fraport share is trading via XETRA temporarily 1.27 percent higher at 55.84 euros. A profitability at the current time that excites many investors.

The recovery of air traffic after the COVID-19 slump is an encouraging signal for the industry. Despite the progress, uncertainties regarding the future development persist. Fraport is determined to counter the challenges of the current situation through innovative measures and adaptability, and to maintain its reputation as a leading airport operator.
