The technology is based on a partnership with Momenta, an autonomous vehicle startup from Beijing. Toyota was one of the main investors in Momenta's Series C funding round in 2021. Momenta's intelligent driving solution uses a data-driven, AI-powered flywheel and offers a safe and reliable driving experience for all scenarios, reports Gasgoo.
The vehicles will be equipped with a 126-line LiDAR and the NVIDIA Orin X platform, which offers a computational power of 254 TOPS. This solution allows the vehicle to activate intelligent driving functions wherever there is a road, avoid obstacles, and park in any free spots.
