President Biden causes chuckles with Trump hat

At a memorial event commemorating September 11, President Joe Biden displayed unexpected humor when he briefly donned a "Trump 2024" cap. The event took place at the Shanksville Volunteer Fire Department in a Republican-leaning area of rural Western Pennsylvania. During a friendly exchange with a Trump supporter wearing the red cap, Biden offered the man a blue hat with the presidential seal as an alternative. When asked to sign it, the President jokingly responded, "I don't remember my name. I'm slow." The man teased him, saying, "You're an old geezer." Biden chuckled and agreed. After signing the blue cap, Biden then asked for the red Trump hat. The man handed it to him and, at the urging of those present, Biden placed it over his own baseball cap for a few seconds. The audience, including the smiling Trump supporter, reacted with cheers and applause. Biden showed the hat around, then removed it and shook the man's hand.
