Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson has postponed his planned visit to South Korea, as his spokesperson announced on Wednesday. The Prime Minister was originally scheduled to participate in a summit meeting with South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol. On Tuesday, Yoon had declared martial law but retracted the decision after a negative vote from the parliament.
In light of recent events, it was decided to postpone the trip, the spokesperson added. Contact was made with South Korean authorities in the morning, and efforts are now underway to find a new date for the visit.
The meeting would have been an excellent opportunity to further strengthen the diplomatic relations between the two countries. Now the challenge is to find a new time that accommodates all involved parties. Modern Financial Markets Data
