The Philadelphia Eagles have parted ways with linebacker Devin White, who has not yet taken the field for the team this season. White, who spent five years with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and earned a spot in the Pro Bowl in 2021, was unable to secure a permanent roster spot with the Eagles in free agency. Throughout his career, White has played 76 games, starting in 75 of them. His impressive statistics include 566 tackles, 23 sacks, and 64 quarterback hits. Additionally, he has recorded three interceptions, six forced fumbles, and nine fumble recoveries. Notably, his performance during the 2020 season playoffs stood out, as he recorded two interceptions and two fumble recoveries, including a crucial interception of Patrick Mahomes in Super Bowl LV, which the Buccaneers won 31-9 against the Kansas City Chiefs. After a bye week, the Eagles, holding a 2-2 win-loss record, will face the Cleveland Browns this coming Sunday and hope to improve their standing.
