Comcast has exceeded analysts' expectations with its latest quarterly results. A significant driver for this positive outcome was the company's NBC division, which experienced a substantial revenue boost from broadcasting the Summer Olympics. This mega-event generated impressive advertising revenues of 1.4 billion US dollars. In the third quarter, revenues rose by 6.5 percent to 32.1 billion US dollars, surpassing analysts' estimates of 31.7 billion US dollars. The adjusted earnings per share also impressed with an increase to 1.12 US dollars, exceeding the forecast of 1.06 US dollars.
