The talent from Ohio State, offensive tackle Josh Simmons, has officially announced his participation in the 2025 NFL Draft. His agent confirmed to ESPN that the talented player, who played as the starting left tackle for the Buckeyes last season, is determined to make the leap to the professional league. Despite a knee injury that necessitated surgery and sidelined Simmons since the game against Oregon on October 12, he was recently awarded an honorable mention in the All-Big Ten. This indicates that his on-field performance is widely recognized, even though he had to end the year prematurely due to injury. Josh Simmons, who will turn 22 on December 26, is considered one of the top five offensive linemen in the upcoming draft, according to Field Level Media. His agent, Drew Rosenhaus, is confident that Simmons will be a highly sought-after first-round pick. "Josh will be fully operational at the start of the NFL Training Camp, and he will certainly be selected in the first round," Rosenhaus expressed optimistically. The player, originally from San Diego State, transferred to Ohio State in 2023 after playing a total of 13 games as a right tackle there in 2022 and 2023. In Columbus, he started every game of the 2023 season, as well as the first six games of the current season, before being slowed down by his injury.
