Liverpool honors late fan Philip Dooley

The Liverpool Football Club has paid tribute to the fan Philip Dooley, who died in a traffic accident in Bergamo on Tuesday morning. Dooley, 51 years old, had traveled to Italy to watch his team’s Champions League match against AC Milan. The city of Bergamo is located about an hour north of Milan, the venue for the match. Merseyside Police confirmed that they are assisting the Italian authorities in investigating the accident.
