Instagram, a subsidiary of Meta Platforms, is currently experimenting with a new feature that allows selected users to reset their content recommendations. This innovative feature essentially permits users to restart the algorithm that determines the posts and videos displayed in the feed. The rollout of this feature, which is currently in the testing phase and is expected to be introduced worldwide soon, aims to give users more control over the content they see. If users find that their feed no longer aligns with their interests, this feature offers a welcome opportunity for adjustment. Earlier this year, Instagram introduced new privacy controls, allowing users, especially teenagers, to select topics like books, travel, cooking, or sports that they wish to see more often. Furthermore, Instagram already allows users to indicate their interest in suggested videos. Additional signals, such as liking or sharing a post, are considered to decide which content will be displayed. Modern Financial Markets Data
