The Houston Texans will have to do without their rookie tight end, Cade Stover, in the upcoming duel against the Miami Dolphins. The 24-year-old professional had to undergo an urgent appendectomy and is not on the roster for the upcoming Sunday. Stover was already listed as questionable due to illness in the Week 15 injury report. The surgery took place on Saturday evening. "He is doing well today and we expect a full recovery," the Texans emphasized in an official statement, remaining optimistic about Stover's prompt return. Cade Stover, a promising pick for the Texans in the fourth round of the 2024 NFL Draft from Ohio State University, has caught 14 passes for 132 yards and a touchdown in his rookie season over a total of 13 games (eight as a starter). He also demonstrated his versatility by participating in 57 percent of special teams plays. Modern Financial Markets Data
