Stover was already listed as questionable due to illness in the Week 15 injury report. The surgery took place on Saturday evening. "He is doing well today and we expect a full recovery," the Texans emphasized in an official statement, remaining optimistic about Stover's prompt return. Cade Stover, a promising pick for the Texans in the fourth round of the 2024 NFL Draft from Ohio State University, has caught 14 passes for 132 yards and a touchdown in his rookie season over a total of 13 games (eight as a starter).
