Danish-Indian Alliance for Vaccine Production

Bavarian Nordic has entered into a groundbreaking agreement with the Serum Institute of India, the world's largest vaccine manufacturer, to pave the way for the production of their mpox vaccine. This strategic partnership aims to secure the supply of the sought-after immunopreparation for the Indian market. As part of this cooperation, Bavarian Nordic will transfer the necessary technology to the Serum Institute to enable local production. Furthermore, the Serum Institute is authorized to act on behalf of Bavarian Nordic to expand their global production capacities. This agreement marks a significant step towards strengthening the international presence of the Danish biotech company and meeting the global demand for this specific vaccine.
