The American aircraft manufacturer Boeing has resumed operations in its production facilities. After a seven-week strike that brought thousands of workers in the Pacific Northwest to a standstill, the company has now announced the resumption of manufacturing in all its aircraft programs. Last week, Boeing had already restarted production of its bestseller, the 737 MAX. The company has now confirmed that manufacturing of the 767, 777, and 777X models is also underway again. Stephanie Pope, CEO of Boeing Commercial Airplanes, stated in a social media post that all manufacturing members are undergoing extensive training and certification. Additionally, inventories are aligned to ensure smooth production. With this measure, Boeing appears determined to quickly overcome the supply bottlenecks caused by the labor dispute. The resumption of production is a significant step towards more stable times for the company and its customers.
