Adrien Rabiot close to signing contract with French first division club

The 29-year-old footballer Adrien Rabiot is on the verge of signing a two-year contract with a French club and is already looking forward to becoming part of Manager Roberto De Zerbi's project. Following the expiration of his contract with Juventus at the end of June, Rabiot is currently a free agent. The midfielder confirmed that he would not extend his stay in Italy. During his time at Juventus, he played a total of 212 games, won one Serie A title, two Coppa Italia titles, and one Supercoppa Italiana. Additionally, he reached a noteworthy milestone by becoming the fifth French player in Juventus history to play 200 games. The French international has been linked with a move to the Premier League multiple times in the past. Last summer, The Athletic reported that Manchester United had contacted Rabiot's representatives regarding a possible transfer to Old Trafford. Nevertheless, he eventually extended his contract with Juventus by another year. In the summer of 2022, Rabiot was also close to a move to United, but negotiations ultimately fell through due to personal contract terms.
