AXA reports strong growth thanks to high demand
AXA reports strong revenue growth of seven percent across all business segments in the third quarter of 2024.
The French insurer AXA was able to increase its premium income by seven percent to 84 billion euros in the third quarter of 2024 thanks to strong demand, the company announced in Paris on Wednesday after the market closed. This growth is reflected in all business areas and underscores the robust market position of the Allianz competitor.
In the area of property and casualty insurance, AXA also achieved a revenue growth of seven percent and reached a premium volume of 44.5 billion euros, which constitutes the largest part of the group. In the life and health insurance segment, revenues also increased by an identical seven percent, confirming the company's broad-based success strategy.
We are growing in all our business areas and regions," emphasized Alban de Mailly Nesle, AXA's Chief Financial Officer, in the statement. This consistent performance shows that AXA is not only benefiting from regional markets but also gaining strength internationally.
The increased demand for insurance products in the first nine months of the year is an indication of customers' trust in AXA's comprehensive services and stability. In particular, the continuous expansion in high-growth regions contributes significantly to overall success.
Despite the positive sales growth, AXA continues to face challenges such as intense competition in the insurance sector and economic uncertainties in some markets. Nevertheless, the steady growth in all core areas signals a solid foundation for future developments.
