  • Hoffmann, Veidekke's Danish subsidiary, signs a 4-year framework agreement with the Danish Building Administration.
The Danish subsidiary of Veidekke, Hoffmann, has entered into a strategic four-year framework agreement with the Danish Building and Property Agency for design and construction projects. This agreement, set to take effect in 2025, aims to reach a total volume of 6 billion Danish kroner (approximately 841 million USD). Hoffmann aims to make the execution of construction projects safer and more efficient by adopting a cooperative approach with fewer contracts and interfaces. The agreement allows the execution of all construction projects valued over 3 million Danish kroner under this framework agreement. This strategic step is intended to optimize the processes of the largest real estate company of the Danish state, which is responsible for the development of premises for police, universities, courts, and the central administration. Each project realized under this agreement will be added to Veidekke's order book in the respective quarter in which it is signed. Signe Primdal Lyndrup, Acting Director of the Danish Building and Property Agency, stated: “We are pleased with the agreement with Hoffmann. It marks an important milestone for the Building and Property Agency, and we look forward to a cooperative model where we can jointly find good solutions and transfer experiences from project to project. Our focus is on delivering the buildings on time, on budget, and with quality.” Torben Bjørk Nielsen, CEO of Hoffmann, added: “The agency is developing new forms of trust-based collaboration that include a precise execution model to ensure that we can deliver buildings on time, in the agreed quality, and within budget – thus achieving success together.” Prior to this contract conclusion, Nordr Veidekke had been commissioned to construct an environmentally certified residential building in Trondheim, Norway, and last month, Veidekke secured a major contract from Fornebubanen for the construction of new subway stations in Lysaker and Vækerø in Norway.
