Temenos and NVIDIA: New Momentum for Real-Time Banking through Artificial Intelligence

Temenos has developed generative artificial intelligence for on-site use in banks in collaboration with the NVIDIA AI platform, enabling real-time insights into data. This collaboration allows banks to process unstructured data on-site while maintaining full security and control. By integrating NVIDIA NIM Microservices, which are part of the NVIDIA AI Enterprise Software Platform, banks benefit from optimized AI inference performance and improved latency. This facilitates the deployment, scaling, monitoring, and management of AI models, providing banks with the flexibility to expand their AI capabilities in line with customer requirements. Malcolm deMayo, Vice President for Global Financial Services at NVIDIA, emphasized that AI is transforming financial services and allows banks to reimagine their customer interactions and optimize secure, scalable, and efficient operations. An explainable AI feature from Temenos is used in areas such as credit scoring and anti-money laundering, providing business users with immediate access to insights and reports to improve operations, productivity, and customer engagement. Additionally, Temenos' generative AI solution is supported by NVIDIA's verified operational architecture. Barb Morgan, Chief Product and Technology Officer at Temenos, explained how combining Temenos’ banking expertise with NVIDIA’s leading AI infrastructure offers banks powerful tools to serve customers in real-time with precision and control. Furthermore, Temenos entered into a partnership with Bahwan CyberTek (BCT) in September to develop so-called Multi-Country Model Banks, supporting faster time-to-market for financial institutions with Temenos solutions.
