  • Oracle expands cloud services to AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure.
Oracle has significantly expanded its cloud services and now offers Oracle Database services directly on Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure. This collaboration aims to enable customers to migrate and modernize their applications more quickly. Oracle databases are expected to run seamlessly in the data centers of AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). This cooperation marks a significant step towards simplified cloud migration and multi-cloud deployment. "This was unthinkable in the cloud world just a few years ago," says Karan Batta, Senior Vice President of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. This flexibility allows customers to combine various cloud services and work towards groundbreaking innovations in the cloud. Oracle Database@AWS: This offering provides customers access to the Oracle Autonomous Database and the Oracle Exadata Database Service within AWS. It offers simplified database management and billing, as well as the ability to seamlessly connect enterprise data with applications on Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2). Procurement through the AWS Marketplace is also facilitated, allowing customers to leverage existing AWS commitments and Oracle licensing benefits. Oracle Database@Azure: To meet the strong demand, Oracle Database@Azure will soon be available in 15 additional regions, including Brazil South, Central US, North Italy, and East Japan. The service is already active in six Azure regions and enables customers to access Oracle Autonomous Database and Oracle Exadata Database Service with flexible billing models such as pay-as-you-go. Oracle Database@Google Cloud: This service is now generally available in four Google Cloud regions in the US and Europe, including U.S. East (Ashburn) and Germany Central (Frankfurt). Customers gain direct access to Oracle Database services, allowing them to leverage Oracle Exadata technologies to accelerate innovations. Orders can be easily processed through existing Google Cloud commitments and Oracle licensing benefits. With these expansions, Oracle positions itself as a key driver of innovation and flexibility in the cloud landscape, opening up new opportunities for customers worldwide to optimize their cloud infrastructure.
