Takeaways NEW
- OpenAI introduces a flexible credit system for its enterprise version of ChatGPT.
- The company generates $10 billion in annual recurring revenue through ChatGPT.
Amid the ever-growing competition in the field of artificial intelligence, OpenAI has announced a revision of the sales terms for the enterprise version of its ChatGPT chatbot. Until now, the American AI company offered its product at a fixed price. It is now introducing a credit system that allows customers to upgrade to more advanced tools and add additional features. This dynamic pricing enables companies to integrate the solution more flexibly into their work processes, depending on the volume of credits purchased.
According to media reports, OpenAI is also offering discounted subscriptions to ChatGPT, with price reductions between 10% and 20%. However, the individual costs for the ChatGPT Enterprise solution remain undisclosed for the time being.
OpenAI's rapid growth is increasingly creating competitive pressure within the AI industry. As announced in June, the company achieved significant annual recurring revenues of $10 billion from the success of its flagship product, ChatGPT.
Together with News Corp, the parent company of Dow Jones Newswires and The Wall Street Journal, OpenAI maintains a content licensing partnership.
