The Indian technology giant Infosys has been selected by the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) to lead its digital transformation initiative DIVE (Digital Innovation and Value Enhancement). The aim of this collaboration is to create a state-of-the-art digital platform that enables seamless omnichannel interaction and hyper-personalized experiences for LIC's customers, agents, and employees. To achieve this transformation, Infosys will leverage the artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities of Infosys Topaz and the development, security, and operations services of Infosys Cobalt to provide comprehensive system integration services. Infosys Cobalt offers a wide range of solutions to facilitate enterprises' journey to the cloud, while Infosys Topaz brings generative AI capabilities to enhance these services. The partnership also includes building the necessary infrastructure for LIC's digital journey and providing post-implementation support. The planned platform will be designed to allow integration with fintech companies and bancassurance partners. LIC's CEO and Managing Director, Siddhartha Mohanty, emphasized: "Our collaboration with Infosys marks a significant milestone in our digital transformation journey. It will not only enhance our operational capabilities but also enable us to serve our extensive base of customers, agents, and employees with new, personalized experiences. We are committed to leveraging Infosys's latest technologies, including cloud and enterprise AI, to drive innovation and improve our offerings." Salil Parekh, CEO and Managing Director of Infosys, added: "LIC is a name that resonates with generations of Indians, and we are pleased to be part of their transformation journey. By utilizing Infosys's extensive experience in digital transformation initiatives and our expertise in AI and cloud, we aim to equip LIC with a robust digital infrastructure that enables superior customer engagement, improved operational efficiency, and rapid market responsiveness." This collaboration follows Infosys's recent partnership with the Proximus Group in Belgium, which aims to unlock new business opportunities and offer best-in-class products.
