Google DeepMind achieves breakthrough in solving mathematical problems

The research division for artificial intelligence at Alphabet, Google DeepMind, has made significant progress in solving complex mathematical problems that have so far posed a substantial challenge to contemporary AI programs. On Thursday, Google introduced two new programs: AlphaProof, specialized in mathematical reasoning, and AlphaGeometry 2, an updated version of a model focused on geometry that debuted earlier this year.
