Companies Rely on Oracle Database@Azure for Cloud Modernization

Numerous global organizations from various industries, including the Craneware Group and Vodafone, have chosen Oracle Database@Azure as the preferred solution to accelerate their cloud transitions. Oracle Database@Azure is now available for the first time in South America, specifically in the Brazil South region, and is simultaneously expanding its presence in Europe with the Italy North region. In total, the service is available in nine Microsoft Azure regions, with plans to expand to an additional 24 regions by the end of 2025. This geographical expansion is accompanied by new services designed to meet data governance and compliance requirements. The Craneware Group has found a solution with the Exadata Database Service on Oracle Database@Azure that supports their mission-critical applications. These include essential services for over 12,000 hospitals and pharmacies, ranging from procurement to auditing. Craneware's CTO, Abhilesh Gandhi, emphasizes the advantages of Oracle's multicloud and cloud strategies, which are indispensable for scalability, reliability, and security. Vodafone also pursues a comprehensive multicloud strategy with Oracle Database@Azure to optimize its IT infrastructure in Europe. Pedro Sardo, responsible for technology services, highlights that these multicloud capabilities enable the provision of digital services more efficiently and cost-effectively, while maintaining security and performance at the highest level.
