Amazon is extending its popular Prime Day discount event for Prime members next month to a total of four days. The sales event begins on July 8 at 00:01 Pacific Time and ends on July 11. The Prime Day event, which has been in existence since 2015, was first extended to two days in 2019 and reached record highs in sales and items sold last year. New to the program are the "Today's Big Deals," which are theme-based daily offers starting daily at midnight Pacific Time. These offers include discounts on brands such as Samsung, Kiehl's, and Levi's. According to Amazon, these promotional actions could occur every five minutes during selected periods. In addition, since 2022, Amazon has held another event in October called "Prime Big Deal Days." The company's stock price is currently showing a slight decline, falling by about 1% in pre-market trading on Tuesday.
