Amazon Bedrock Expands Portfolio with Stability and New Data Automation

Stability AI, a leading developer of generative AI models in the field of visual media, is launching its most advanced text-to-image model, Stable Diffusion 3.5 Large, on Amazon Bedrock. This model generates high-quality images from text descriptions in a variety of styles and is designed to assist customers in media, gaming, advertising, and retail sectors with the design of concept art, visual effects, and detailed product images. Amazon Bedrock provides access to over 100 established, emerging, and specialized models available in the Amazon Bedrock Marketplace. These models cover diverse use cases, including Mistral AI's Mistral NeMo Instruct 2407, the Falcon RW 1B from the Technology Innovation Institute, and NVIDIA NIM microservices. Specialized models such as Palmyra-Fin from Writer for the financial industry and Solar Pro from Upstage for translations are also available. Enhancements in Amazon Bedrock facilitate handling unstructured data. The introduction of Data Automation allows companies to convert unstructured data like documents, videos, and audio into structured formats. Symbeo, a company of CorVel, plans to use this technology to automate data capture from complex documents like insurance claims. Similarly, Tenovos employs this technology for semantic search to increase content reuse. The Amazon Bedrock Marketplace is now available, while the new capabilities for inference management and structured data querying are currently offered as a preview. Models from Luma AI, Poolside, and Stability AI will also be available soon. Amazon Web Services, a heavyweight in the cloud industry, supports various workloads worldwide with over 240 services.
