The US technology company Apple traditionally invites people to a keynote on the Apple Campus every year in the fall. At the much-anticipated event, the company typically presents the latest iPhone generation as well as other new products. Exciting updates are expected for 2024, which Apple CEO Tim Cook is likely to present to fans.

The keynote will once again focus on the new iPhone generation. The iPhone 16 is expected to be introduced in the variants iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max. According to insider reports, the standard models are expected to have similar display sizes to their predecessors but with a new hardware button for the camera that facilitates use in landscape mode. In addition, camera improvements and new color variants are anticipated.

The Pro models, iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max, are expected to receive larger displays of 6.3 inches and 6.9 inches, respectively, the largest Apple has ever used in an iPhone. They are also expected to be equipped with an improved 48-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera that enables better photos, particularly in low-light conditions, and offers 5x optical zoom. A new A18 Pro chip is expected to enhance performance for AI applications.

In addition to the iPhones, new AirPod models are also expected to be introduced. Both a more affordable and a high-end model are anticipated. The new AirPods 4 are said to have a design mix of AirPods Pro and AirPods 3 and, for the first time, feature a charging case with USB-C. Moreover, they could offer hearing aid functionality and active noise cancellation. The AirPods Max 2 are also expected to be unveiled, with new features such as adaptive audio and conversation awareness.

The Apple Watch Series 10 or Apple Watch X is expected to feature a thinner case and larger displays. New health sensors for detecting high blood pressure and sleep apnea are also planned. A new, more powerful chip is expected to support future AI functions. Additionally, a new magnetic band system might be introduced.

Even the Apple Watch Ultra, which was first introduced in 2022, could be presented in a revised version. It is speculated that it will keep up with the new features of the Apple Watch Series 10 and possibly even surpass them.

In addition to the new iPhones, Apple Watches, and AirPods, there is speculation about further product innovations. After no new iPads were introduced in 2023, Apple could update the entire iPad lineup in 2024. The iPad mini 7 and the iPad 11 are particularly the focus of rumors, with new processors and improvements to the Apple Pencil expected.

Furthermore, new Mac mini, iMac, and MacBook Pro models with M4 chip could be introduced, promising significant performance improvements. However, a major hardware redesign does not seem to be planned.

New devices could also be presented in the Smart Home sector. There is speculation about an Apple TV 4K with a better processor and a HomePod with an LCD display. However, neither device is expected to be compatible with Apple Intelligence.

The Apple Keynote in the fall thus promises many exciting innovations. In addition to the new iPhones and AirPods, the Apple Watch Series 10 and the Apple Watch Ultra 3 are particularly likely to cause a stir.
