The German wind turbine manufacturer Nordex has secured several significant orders in Turkey. According to the company, Akfen Renewable Energy has ordered turbines with a total capacity of 102 megawatts (MW). Delivery and installation of the systems are scheduled to begin in 2025 and will include the expansion of five existing wind farms.

In addition to the deliveries, the order also includes the maintenance of the turbines over a period of ten years, further strengthening the long-term partnership between Nordex and Akfen.

The news about the new orders was positively received by the markets. During XETRA trading, the price of Nordex shares temporarily rose by 1.23 percent to 14.01 euros.
