The Future of
Financial Data
Named after the most prolific mathematician in history.
Built for the most demanding investors on earth.
We believe financial data
is broken
For decades, financial data has been locked behind six-figure terminal contracts, buried in clunky interfaces designed in the 1990s, and gatekept by institutions that profit from complexity.
We looked at the Bloomberg Terminal — a $25,000/year product with an interface older than the internet itself — and asked a simple question: Why?
Why should an individual investor, a quant researcher, or an AI agent building the future of finance have to fight through decades of legacy infrastructure just to access a company’s revenue history?
The answer is: they shouldn’t. So we built Eulerpool.
Why Euler
Leonhard Euler (pronounced OY-ler) was an 18th-century Swiss mathematician who produced more original work than any mathematician before or after him — over 886 books and papers across every field of mathematics and physics.
He went completely blind at 64. His output didn’t slow down. It increased. He carried entire proofs in his head, dictating them to scribes, sustained by what contemporaries described as an almost supernatural memory. Laplace said of him: “Read Euler, read Euler, he is the master of us all.”
Euler didn’t just solve problems. He invented the language to describe them. The notation f(x) for functions? Euler. The letter e for the base of natural logarithms? Euler. The modern use of π? Popularized by Euler. The symbol i for imaginary numbers? Euler. The summation symbol Σ? Euler.
He gave mathematics its alphabet. We are giving financial data its operating system.
Read Euler, read Euler, he is the master of us all.
We chose the name Eulerpool because we believe in the same principles that drove Euler’s work: that complexity should be reduced to elegance, that knowledge should be structured and accessible, and that one system — rigorously designed — can become the foundation everything else is built upon.
The “pool” represents convergence: every financial dataset, every market, every metric — flowing into a single, structured source of truth. What Euler did for mathematical notation, we do for financial data.
Euler’s Identity — the most beautiful equation ever written
Euler’s Identity connects five fundamental constants of mathematics in a single, impossibly elegant equation. It’s proof that beneath apparent complexity lies profound simplicity — if you find the right structure.
That is our design philosophy in a formula.
Institutional-grade data.
For everyone.
Eulerpool is a financial data platform and API built for the age of AI. We provide real-time and historical financial data across equities, fixed income, derivatives, and macroeconomics — structured, verified, and accessible through a single interface and a single API call.
Data without Gates
No sales calls. No six-figure contracts. No onboarding meetings. Sign up and build. Every AI agent, startup, researcher, and individual investor gets access. The era of gatekept financial data is over.
Built for AI Agents
Every endpoint returns typed, deterministic JSON. No parsing hacks. No brittle scraping. Structured for LLMs, copilots, and agents to reason about markets without hallucinating.
Design as First Principle
Great data deserves great design. We combine the depth of a Bloomberg Terminal with the clarity and beauty of a product designed in 2025. Data should be a joy to use.
Radical Data Quality
Every data point is linked to its original source — annual reports, SEC filings, exchange feeds. Rigorously verified. Over 100 million financial metrics. 100,000+ real-time updates per day.
From San Francisco,
to the world
Eulerpool Research Systems was founded by Michael C. Jakob — a computer scientist by training (KIT Karlsruhe, ETH Zürich, MIT), a former McKinsey management consultant, and a former UBS asset manager. He saw firsthand how broken financial data infrastructure was and decided to rebuild it from first principles.
Starting from San Francisco, Eulerpool launched in 2022 and quickly became one of the most trusted financial platforms globally. Within three years, nearly half a million investors rely on Eulerpool for their research and analysis. No outside funding. No venture capital. Built entirely on the conviction that better data, better design, and relentless quality would win.
The idea crystallizes
After years working with institutional data at UBS and McKinsey, the vision for a modern, open financial data platform takes shape in San Francisco.
Eulerpool launches
The platform goes live with comprehensive stock data, the Eulerpool Fair Value model, and a design philosophy that puts clarity above everything.
Institutional-grade API
The Eulerpool Data API opens access to the full depth of our financial data — equities, fixed income, derivatives, and macro — for developers and institutions worldwide.
AI-native infrastructure
Structured for agents, copilots, and LLMs. Typed JSON endpoints, batch queries, deterministic outputs. The data layer for the next generation of financial AI.
The Bloomberg Terminal killer
500,000+ investors. 1,000,000+ securities. Every market, every metric, every company — in one platform, at a fraction of legacy cost.
Our convictions
Financial data is infrastructure, not a luxury. Just as the internet democratized information, Eulerpool democratizes the data that drives capital markets. Access should be determined by ambition, not budget.
Design is not decoration. A beautiful interface is a functional one. The best analysis happens when complexity is reduced to clarity — when the data gets out of the way and the insight becomes obvious.
AI will reshape finance, and it needs clean data to do it. The next wave of financial innovation will be built by AI agents that need structured, reliable, deterministic data feeds. We're building the data layer they'll run on.
Independence matters. Eulerpool is ad-free. We don't sell user data. We don't let advertisers influence our platform. Our only incentive is to build the best product in the world. Period.
The best financial technology can come from anywhere. It doesn't require a Wall Street pedigree or a legacy institution. It requires obsession — with data quality, with design, with relentless iteration. We built Eulerpool from San Francisco with that conviction.
