The e-commerce pioneer Pattern is aiming for a company valuation of up to $2.64 billion in its initial public offering in the United States. This move underscores the revival of the IPO market. After experiencing a cooling in April due to tariff concerns, improved trade prospects and strong investment demand have bolstered confidence in new public offerings. The Lehi, Utah-based firm plans, along with some of its existing shareholders, to offer 21.4 million shares priced between $13 and $15 each, to generate up to $321 million. Pattern joins a series of companies revitalizing the IPO market with high-profile debuts, including well-known names like design software developer Figma and stablecoin issuer Circle. Pattern's targeted company value is an increase from the $2 billion valuation achieved in a 2021 financing round. At that time, the investment firm Knox Lane led the capital raising, which brought in $225 million. The company was founded in 2013 as iServe by David Wright and Melanie Alder and has developed into a leading e-commerce accelerator. It supports brands in global expansion across platforms like Amazon, Walmart, and TikTok Shop. From its beginnings in a living room, Pattern has grown into one of the world's leading resellers on Amazon. In 2024, more than 90% of its revenue came from the sale of consumer goods on the platform. According to Statista, global revenue in the e-commerce market is expected to reach around $8.3 trillion by 2025, with the number of users rising to 4 billion by 2030. Goldman Sachs and J.P. Morgan have been named as lead underwriters for the offering. Pattern will be listed on the Nasdaq under the symbol 'PTRN'.
